Each trip is built around understanding a place, not just what's in the glass or on the plate: its history, its landscape, its traditions, and the people keeping them going, families who've worked the same vineyards for generations, producers redefining what the region is known for. I partner with local experts to access spaces that aren't open to the public: members-only societies, growers who don't normally host outside guests, family-run farmhouses that have been making cheese the same way for centuries. The food is just as much a protagonist as the wine, from three-star Michelin tables to the kind of local asador that you won't find on a top-10 list but will serve the best steak of your life. I host every trip from start to finish to make sure it all flows smoothly, and each experience has its own expert guide alongside me. Wine is also why I host these trips myself: it's the subject I never tire of, and there's nothing I'd rather do than spend a week going deeper into it with people who feel the same pull.
